Updated Federal Safety Directive to Better Protect Industry Workers
Safety on the job is the priority for utility arboriculture, especially with so much exposure to hazards of working on vegetation management near power lines.
The Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) has released a new directive to make sure companies are in compliance when their employees are involved in tree care and removing trees. Review the “Enforcement Inspection Guidance for Tree Care and Tree Removal Operations” here.
